SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE is for students age 7 to 12 years.  Students do not need any previous stage or acting experience, however, they do need to be prepared to contribute, work hard and have loads of fun.

Youth Theatre is NOT a holiday care program, it is serious theatre for those that are keen to learn and be on stage.

Plays and musical plays are written so that every student receives a meaningful role with dialogue.  Roles are designed so that those with more confidence and experience can be extended, while those less confident can be nurtured.

Play Synopsis

Minty & Monty, two mice, live in Fran & Fritz’s toy shop with Tick & Tock, two clocks that never stop arguing. One day a very obnoxious boy named Romus, steals a toy soldier from the toy shop. Minty & Monty agree to help Soldier’s friends, Tracker, Ballerina, Clown, Robot, Train & Rag Doll, to rescue him. But they haven't counted upon TC, BC & AKA, 3 very wicked cats. How on the earth are they going to rescue Toy Soldier and stop TC, BC & AKA from catching Minty and Monty. What plan do they have to teach Romas that stealing is not a very nice thing to do? Perhaps a toy court is the answer with Tick & Tock as Judge and Defence Council. But, will Tick & Tock stop arguing long enough to come to a decision and will they find Romus guilty or innocent?
